We visit Valletta, the capital city built by the Knights of St. John after the Great Siege of 1565. Our walking tour includes important landmarks that highlight Valletta’s military and artistic heritage. We begin at the Upper Barrakka Gardens, offering breathtaking views across the Grand Harbour before continuing along Republic Street, where you’ll see several architectural treasures including: The Auberges of the Knights, The Grand Master’s Palace & Baroque palaces and churches.

The tour also includes an internal visit to St. John’s Co-Cathedral, one of Europe’s finest Baroque interiors and home to Caravaggio’s dramatic masterpiece “The Beheading of St. John.”

Mdina Walking Tour

Our journey takes us to Mdina, Malta’s ancient hilltop city often referred to as the “Silent City.” With its golden limestone walls, quiet lanes, and breathtaking views stretching across the island, Mdina feels like stepping into another world.

As we walk through its maze of narrow streets and centuries-old palaces, your guide will share the stories, legends, and families that shaped this fortified city over the last thousand years.

Rabat

We continue to Rabat, a town closely linked to the beginnings of Christianity on the island. Here you’ll learn about Malta’s Roman past and the traditions surrounding St. Paul’s stay in Malta in 60 AD, following his legendary shipwreck.

As we walk through Rabat’s quiet streets, your guide will bring to life the stories of early Christian communities, Roman noble houses, and the town’s unique heritage

Dingli Cliffs

We also visit the breathtaking Dingli Cliffs, the highest point in Malta and one of the island’s
most dramatic natural landscapes. Rising around 250 metres above sea level, the cliffs offer sweeping views over the Mediterranean and the uninhabited island of Filfla in the distance.

The area is peaceful and unspoiled, with fresh sea air and wide, open horizons, perfect for taking photos or simply pausing to enjoy Malta’s natural beauty.
