Duration: 8 hours

Private Guided Experience

Tour Information

Mosta Basilica

Your guided tour includes a visit to the impressive Mosta Basilica, renowned for its monumental unsupported dome, one of the largest in Europe.

Here, you will also hear the remarkable WWII story of the bomb that pierced the dome during a crowded service yet failed to explode; an event remembered as one of Malta’s most extraordinary wartime miracles.

Ta' Qali Crafts Village

We also visit the Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, Malta’s centre for traditional craftsmanship. Once a WWII airfield, the area has been transformed into a collection of artisan workshops where local craftspeople create some of the island’s most iconic handmade items.

Here you can watch glassblowers shaping colourful Maltese glass, see ceramic artists at work, browse handmade jewellery, and explore stalls offering lace, leather goods, and local souvenirs. It’s a great opportunity to observe authentic Maltese craftsmanship up close and, if you wish, pick up a unique piece to take home.

Dingli Cliffs

In this private day tour, we also visit the breathtaking Dingli Cliffs, the highest point in Malta and one of the island’s most dramatic natural landscapes. Rising around 250 metres above sea level, the cliffs offer sweeping views over the Mediterranean and the uninhabited island of Filfla in the distance. The area is peaceful and unspoiled, with fresh sea air and wide, open horizons, perfect for taking photos or simply pausing to enjoy Malta’s natural beauty.

Wied iż-Żurrieq & Blue Grotto

We visit Wied iż-Żurrieq, a small coastal inlet famous for the Blue Grotto. From here, you may take an optional boat trip (weather permitting) into a series of sea caverns glowing with unbelievable shades of blue. Sunlight passing through the underwater caves lights up the water with bright turquoise and sapphire tones. The 25-minute boat ride visits several caves, each with its own colours and textures.

Marsaxlokk village

We also visit Marsaxlokk, Malta’s traditional fishing village famous for its colourful luzzu boats decorated with the symbolic “Eye of Osiris.” The waterfront is lined with cafés, family-run restaurants, and market stalls selling local produce, crafts, and souvenirs.

The village offers a peaceful, authentic atmosphere and a picturesque bay that’s perfect for photos. As you stroll along the promenade, you’ll experience a glimpse of everyday Maltese coastal life, shaped by centuries of fishing tradition.
